How Email Campaigns Work
What this does: Sends an email to everyone on your newsletter subscriber list.
When to use it:
- Announce new solar programs you've discovered
- Share success stories from families who got solar
- Update about policy changes or new funding
- Monthly newsletter with tips and resources
Important: Don't send too many emails! Once a month is good. Too many emails = people unsubscribe.
💡 Tip: Write like you're talking to a friend. Keep it simple and helpful.

Email Writing Tips
Good Subject Lines:
- "3 New Solar Programs Just Launched in California"
- "Success Story: How Maria Got Free Solar Panels"
- "Important: Solar Tax Credit Deadline Extended"
Bad Subject Lines:
- "Newsletter #5" (boring, unclear)
- "CLICK HERE NOW!!!" (looks like spam)
- "You won't believe this..." (clickbait)
Message Structure:
- Start with a friendly greeting
- Get to the point quickly (what's new?)
- Provide helpful details
- Include links to learn more
- End with a clear next step
